The True Athlete Community
The True Athlete community will be an awesome ever-changing fantasy sports world with incredible multi-player games, and Active Avatar Evolution where the players' characters morph into super heroes.
Gold, Silver, and Bronze coins are the currency in the True Athlete Universe. Every purchase in the True Athlete Universe requires coins. Players will have an unbelievably wide variety of things to buy starting with apartment, home, car, pet, clothes, sports equipment, accessories, everything.
Coins become the key item in the True Athlete world and can only be earned in our Challenge Centers. Challenge Centers ask players age and grade appropriate questions in history, geography, science, or math. Correct answers are rewarded with gold, silver and bronze coins depending on the level of the question.
While there will be amazing baseball, basketball, football, soccer, volleyball, dodgeball etc. games on the True Athlete site, the only way to earn coins is by answering questions in the Challenge Center. This is key because we start to build the connection in children's minds that you bring home the gold by answering school questions. The Challenge Centers presents question in an escalating format, giving players the chance to earn more coins by answering more difficult questions risking what they have already earned.
In many ways the True Athlete Universe will mirror the real world. Players must accumulate and save money to buy certain items. The bank of course will offer 10% interest compounded weekly for the kids to see real value in saving.
True Athlete Community Goal
The True Athlete community will always be striving to reach a goal. It might be Toys for Tots around Christmas, school supplies in September, or natural disaster relief. No matter what it is, the True Athlete Community will be there to help.
We as members of True Athlete, we want to set up an environment where it's easy for Kids to help. Allowing the players to individually help in a global project empowers them to know personally they can make a difference.
The True Athlete universe will not be static but will flow like a river directed by the seasons of the sport and events in our world.
Chat Safety
At True Athlete child safety is our priority. Control for all communication aspects on the True Athlete site are in the hands of the parents. Parents set all networking and chat parameters. Parents will be able to limit who and how their children communicate. Safe chat technology monitors every letter typed in the True Athlete Universe whether in an email or chat, blocking any harmful words or word combinations. All Players will be able to contact help from any location in the True Athlete Universe. The Site is monitored 24/7 by live True Athlete personnel.
